Alaska 2-1-1

Changing the Way Alaskans Find Help

Alaska 2-1-1 is the number you dial to find out about hundreds of important community resources, like emergency food and shelter, disability services, counseling, senior services, healthcare, child care, drug and alcohol programs, legal assistance, transportation needs, educational opportunities, and much more.

2-1-1 is not an emergency number like 9-1-1, nor is it directory assistance like 4-1-1.

2-1-1 is your first step toward solving everyday problems or when you face difficult times.

It’s a free service. It’s confidential. The website is available to you 24/7. Our call center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. By dialing, 2-1-1 you will connect with trained staff who will help you find community resources nearest to where you live.

Alaska 2-1-1 is a service of the United Ways of Alaska.
